BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (August 30, 2017)—Numotion, a provider of complex rehab technology (CRT), has relaunched their company website, numotion.com, with new content intended to showcase customers and provide needed resources to those looking for mobility solutions.

The site features a new section, “Customer Stories,” featuring 20 customers who share their mobility journey and why they choose Numotion. Kierra, a pre-teen with muscular dystrophy, shares how her power chair has made her more independent at school and home. Nick, a family man with muscular dystrophy, says that Numotion gave him the gift of hugging his wife through his stander.

“Our mission is to help customers live active and independent lives and these stories showcase how we do just that,” said Mike Swinford, CEO, Numotion. “As customers turn to the web more frequently to learn about their mobility options, it’s important we offer them not only inspiration, but the information they need to make decisions related to their health.”

In addition to customer stories, the website adds information about what customers can expect as they embark on their mobility purchase with Numotion. A timeline outlines the steps involved in the ordering process—from insurance approvals, to building a chair, while a glossary clarifies the many acronyms a customer is sure to encounter.

An expanded blog will also provide customers and medical professionals, with new resources as they navigate the ever-changing landscape of CRT. “Nu Digest” posts, authored by experts from Numotion and across the industry, provide tips on everything from flying with a wheelchair to documentation needed to get a chair approved through Medicare. “Wheeltime with Daniel and Shea” offers helpful service advice and tips from Numotion service experts via fun and engaging videos. Content on the site will be updated regularly and individuals are encouraged to check back on a regular basis.

“While our website serves as the first touchpoint for many new customers, we also want it to be a helpful resource for anyone with mobility needs,” added Swinford. “Our team has a vast wealth of collective expertise in our industry, the website is an opportunity for us to extend their knowledge beyond their day-to-day interactions to even more customers who can benefit.”
