NEW YORK—Nevvon, the compliance and training infrastructure behind the homecare and self-directed care workforce, has received an investment from BVP Forge, the private equity arm of Bessemer Venture Partners that focuses on self-sustaining technology and back-to-basics (B2B) services businesses. Alongside the investment, Nevvon launched TrainOnce, a new solution powered by the platform’s network effects.
The company said this investment will help Nevvon expand its platform, deepen its work with payers and self-directed care programs and reach more caregivers across the United States, as more of this workforce moves between agencies and into self-directed arrangements where individuals manage their own caregiving. Nevvon's management team will continue to lead the company, and its day-to-day relationships with agencies, caregivers and channel partners remain unchanged.
“We built Nevvon because caregivers and the agencies that employ them deserve better infrastructure than what the industry has offered,” said James Cohen, CEO of Nevvon. “Partnering with BVP Forge lets us continue to scale for the caregivers and agencies who depend on us. Forge understood our mission from the first conversation: better training, better compliance, better care. That remains our focus.”
TrainOnce is built on top of Nevvon's existing footprint. Through its channel partnerships and integrations, the company said it reaches agencies inside the systems they already use to schedule, bill and stay audit-ready and its curriculum is built to track training requirements as they shift state by state and year by year.
“Nevvon sits at the nexus of the hardest problems in homecare: helping agencies and payers keep up with a complex, ever-changing regulatory landscape without slowing down care or compromising outcomes,” said Navid Oreizy, partner at BVP Forge. “We were drawn to a company that has an exceptional reputation as the most innovative and AI-forward compliance infrastructure for the homecare industry, with a roadmap to extend its presence across the continuum of care. We are excited to bring the capabilities of BVP Forge and our ForgeEdge scaling resources to back Nevvon's next chapter.”
