CALGARY, Alberta—HME franchise MEDIchair is rolling out a slew of new localized Web sites for its stores, which span Canada from coast to coast. While the chain has a national Web site, “the timing is right” to add information and resources that are customer-focused for each local market, according to Bas van Lankvelt, COO. Each Web site will have a common national branding component with educational and resource information, and a localized component with features such as links to local government agencies, health care agencies and a map with directions to the store. The rollout will be completed in the fall. For a profile of MEDIchair Nanaimo, located on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, see HomeCare, August 2008.
