Joe Raffii will educate clinicians, ATPs and customers on options for seating & mobility

MELBOURNE, Florida—Kalogon, a company specializing in smart wheelchair cushions and seating technology, announced it has brought on Jon Raffii as its new national field educator.

The company shared the news on its Facebook page.

"At Kalogon, we believe education drives better outcomes for people who sit for long periods," the company said. "Jon's expertise in the field will help us raise the bar."

Raffii said he is excited to join the Kalogon team.

"Throughout my early 20 years in CRT [complex rehab technology], I have always placed a big emphasis on education," he said. "Whether I was teaching PT/OT [physical therapy/occupational therapy] students about complex rehab tech, working with the ALS community or helping families navigate adaptive equipment options, education has always been front and center.

"At Kalogon, I’ll be doing what I love most: educating ATPs [assistive technology professionals], clinicians and customers about the best options available for their seating and mobility," Raffii said. "Kalogon’s smart seating technology is changing what’s possible for wheelchair users, and I’m excited to be a part of it. I’ll be developing training programs, creating continuing education opportunities, supporting our Kalogon Flyers brand ambassador program and hitting the road to work directly with providers who want to deliver better outcomes.”
