Visiting Angels of the Palm Beaches is honors as Small Business of the Year by the local Chamber of Commerce.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (April 27, 2017)—Visiting Angels of the Palm Beaches is proud to announce that it has received the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award for 2017.

As part of the Palm Beach North Chamber’s Annual Leadership Awards, Visiting Angels of the Palm Beaches is being honored as Small Business of the Year for its exemplary customer service, consistent commitment to the community, successful response to adversity in the business environment and the distinctive, customized client services it provides.

“Being honored as the Small Business of the Year validates our value-based business philosophy of putting people first,” commented Irv Seldin, JD, Owner and CEO of Visiting Angels of the Palm Beaches. "Our community outreach includes special efforts to educate not only our clients and their families, but all the seniors in our area, on a wide range of issues such as how to age gracefully or what’s trending in senior health and wellness. Our advocacy for the local senior population extends to providing support and resources for the elderly dealing with illness or disability, and to those serving them through the medical and legal professions here in Palm Beach County. This award proves that a small business can have a big impact on the lives of local citizens.”

A frequent award winner, Visiting Angels of the Palm Beaches is ranked one of the top 10, private duty home care agencies in Palm Beach County according to Home Care Pulse. Visiting Angels has been the winner of the “Best of Home Care—Provider of Choice Award” for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. Visiting Angels has also been honored two years in a row by Florida Weekly with the publication’s “Best” award for Home Health Care—in 2016 and 2017.
