The Unbound IQ line includes the WalkWise & NexStride, new brands of digital health & technology solutions

PORT WASHINGTON, New York—Drive Medical, a manufacturer of durable medical equipment and accessibility solutions, launched Unbound IQ by Drive, its new brand of digital health and tech-enabled solutions. The company said Unbound IQ helps providers support patients with clinically informed technology and data-driven insights that support earlier, more proactive care decisions.

"The best care intervention is the one that happens before a crisis," said Sidney Collin, clinical vice president of technology innovation. "Both families and the healthcare system are demanding tools that don’t just respond to a catastrophic event—they help prevent it. Whether that means tracking daily movement to catch a functional decline before it leads to a fall or helping to move with more confidence and independence, Unbound IQ gives providers the tools to intervene earlier, demonstrate measurable impact and deliver care that truly improves lives.”

The first products to join the Unbound IQ portfolio are WalkWise and NexStride.

WalkWise is a smart device that attaches to a user’s existing mobility aid, transforming it into a connected monitoring solution that supports preventative care at home. WalkWise delivers real-time activity insights directly to caregivers through a smartphone app, enabling earlier intervention and more informed clinical decisions before a crisis occurs.

NexStride is an assistive mobility device that uses visual and auditory cueing technology to help users walk with stability and confidence. NexStride supports movement through on-demand visual and auditory cues—wherever users are, not just in clinical settings. Compatible with most mobility aids, it is designed for individuals experiencing mobility challenges, such as those living with Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis or similar conditions.

Providers interested in learning about these technologies can attend an introductory Unbound IQ webinar on Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 3:30 p.m. EDT.

The live session will feature the creators of WalkWise and NexStride and cover clinical applications, real world provider use cases and business growth opportunities. Registration is available at drivemedical.com/UnboundIQ.
