CHICAGO (January 27, 2022)—The American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) has recently elected its 2022-2023 Board of Directors and Nominating Committee. Drs. Nathan Goldstein and Tara Friedman will continue to serve on the executive committee as past president and president, respectively.
AAHPM’s board of directors is the governing body of the academy. It comprises a six-member executive committee (officers) and 14 directors at large. Nominations for the board of directors and nominating committee are accepted each spring, and elections for open positions occur each fall.
The Board of Directors will begin their terms following the 2022 Annual Assembly, which will be held virtually on Feb. 9-12, 2022.
