New Code of Business Ethics

ARLINGTON, VA.—AAHomecare will present its new Code of
Business Ethics for HME providers during a special panel discussion
at Medtrade Spring on Wednesday, May 12, at 3 p.m. The association
said the new code could help providers meet the compliance mandates
enacted in the new health care reform law, which requires Medicare
providers to adopt a compliance plan as a condition of enrollment.
AAHomecare said the regulations and timeline for implementing the
law’s provision “have yet to be defined” and have
been left to the discretion of the Department of Health and Human
Services.
