MITC Announces Partnership With CaraSolva
FREDERICK, Maryland—MITC, a technology platform for disability service, homecare and behavioral health providers, announced a partnership with CaraSolva to provide electronic medication administration record (eMAR) capabilities to providers through an integration with CaraSolva’s MedSupport platform.
The companies said the partnership will enable MITC customers to connect medication administration workflows with MITC’s staff and client solutions, helping providers streamline daily operations, improve visibility and reduce the administrative burden associated with managing multiple systems.
“In times of funding uncertainty, it is more important than ever for providers to have tightly integrated, cost-effective solutions,” said John Graham, CEO and software architect of MITC. “By integrating CaraSolva’s eMAR capabilities with MITC, providers will be able to empower their employees with a single platform for all their daily tasks. Currently, many providers rely on separate platforms for time and attendance, EVV [electronic visit verification], scheduling, documentation, mileage, EHR, eMAR and other essential functions. Our partnership with CaraSolva is an important step in MITC’s strategic vision to help providers improve efficiency and productivity by connecting the systems into a single platform that their DSPs [direct support professionals] can use for all their daily tasks.”
“Wrap-around services are more than a buzzword, they are integral to supporting individuals in all aspects of their lives,” said Geoff Cooper, president and CEO of CaraSolva. “Just as important as delivering those services is ensuring that they are documented in a way that meets payer requirements while still fitting into the DSP’s workflow. We are excited to partner with MITC and be part of a solution that supports caregivers and agency providers.”
