New Medicaid Advisory Commission Set

WASHINGTON — The Government Accountability Office has
named commissioners to the new Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access
Commission (MACPAC), according to a notice in the Jan. 25
Federal Register.

Charged with reviewing policies that affect children’s access
under the programs, the advisory body was established by The
Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2009 to
advise Congress on the policies.
