MedAct Appoints Timmons New CEO

MCKINNEY, Texas — MedAct Software has appointed Gregg Timmons as
CEO effective immediately. Geoff Kearney, MedAct’s previous CEO,
will continue to serve as the company’s chairman and manage its
board of directors. Timmons joins the company from BorderWare
Technologies, where he led worldwide sales, marketing and product
efforts as executive vice president. He was previously vice
president of partner sales and alliances at Entrust, and has also
held positions at Netscape, SGI and Kodak.
