HomeWell Franchising Receives Brandon Hall Group Award

BURKBURNETT, Texas—HomeWell Franchising LLC, the parent company of national non-medical homecare provider HomeWell Care Services, has received a Brandon Hall Group Gold HCM Excellence Award in the Best Use of a Blended Learning Program category for its LaunchWell franchise onboarding and certification program.

The HCM Excellence Awards recognize organizations that develop and deploy programs, strategies, technologies and solutions that deliver measurable business results and advance excellence in Human Capital Management. HomeWell earned Gold recognition following an independent evaluation of LaunchWell’s impact.

“This Gold Award is an incredible recognition of the thought, collaboration and commitment our team has invested in LaunchWell,” said Erika Ehlers, vice president of learning and onboarding at HomeWell. “Opening a homecare agency requires much more than completing a series of training courses. Our goal is to prepare each owner to open their doors ready to serve clients, support caregivers and grow within their community.”

Developed by Ehlers and HomeWell’s Learning & Onboarding team, LaunchWell is the company’s proprietary, milestone-driven program for preparing new franchise owners to open and operate their agencies. Redesigned and introduced to the franchise system in its current form in 2025, the program combines self-paced education, instructor-led training, individualized coaching and application to help owners build the knowledge, confidence and operational foundation needed to launch successfully.

Today, LaunchWell supports approximately 35 to 40 new franchise owners annually across HomeWell’s growing national footprint.

“LaunchWell reflects an important shift in how we prepare and support new owners,” Ehlers said. “Learning is embedded throughout the opening process and reinforced through practice and coaching, allowing our team to provide more purposeful support at each stage of the journey. We’re proud of what the program has become, and this recognition motivates us to keep listening, learning and strengthening it as the needs of our owners continue to evolve.”

The Gold Award marks HomeWell’s second recognition from Brandon Hall Group. In 2024, the company received a Silver HCM Excellence Award for Learning Lab, its learning experience platform supporting franchise owners and their teams.
