Health Care Jobs Picking Up, but not for DME

WATERLOO, Iowa — According to the Bureau of Labor
Statistics, the health care sector added 12,000 jobs in February,
including 1,300 hospital jobs, 6,700 jobs in ambulatory health care
services and 900 jobs in physician’s offices. But the jobs picture
for DME isn’t headed up, according to The VGM Group. An analysis
released by the group last month shows that once the competitive
bidding program is implemented, more than 100,000 jobs could be
