Coburn Gets President’s Seat at Sunrise Medical

LONGMONT, Colo. — Pete Coburn has been promoted to
president, U.S. commercial operations, of Sunrise
Medical after nearly two years with the company and 25 years in
the industry. Formerly senior vice president of marketing and
customer service, Coburn will lead efforts for the manufacturer’s
mobility division, focusing on Quickie and Zippie power and manual
wheelchairs as well as Jay conventional and custom seating
systems.

“I provided some of the first Quickie wheelchairs to clients
early in my career,” Coburn recalled. “To be part of delivering
revolutionary technology to people that experienced life-changing
events, and see how a new product can improve people’s lives, are
the reasons why I established my career in health care.”
