BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — American Home Patient has entered into
an eighth forbearance agreement with NexBank, the agent for its
senior debt. That debt, approximately $226 million, was due to be
repaid on Aug. 1, 2009. Under this agreement, the lenders may not
take any action against the giant provider, which operates in 33
states, before March 16.
