HomeWell Franchising Ranks in 2026 Franchise Times Top 400

BURKBURNETT, Texas—HomeWell Franchising LLC, the franchisor of national non-medical in-home care provider HomeWell Care Services, was recognized on the 2026 Franchise Times Top 400 list, an exclusive annual ranking of the largest U.S.-based franchise systems by the previous year’s global systemwide sales.

Since its debut on the Franchise Times Top 400 list last year, HomeWell has had another year of expansion. In quarter 1 and quarter 2 alone, the company surpassed the pace set in 2025 and is now on track to reach more than 160 locations nationwide by year’s end, including nearly 35 agencies currently in the pipeline to open their doors.

“We’re incredibly honored to be recognized on the Top 400 list for a second year,” said Crystal Franz, CEO of HomeWell Franchising. “What means the most to us is the people behind the achievement: our franchise owners. As the demand for homecare continues to increase, their dedication and perseverance are what make our growth and impact possible. Seeing our network continue to expand in an industry with such an important and growing need is something we’re truly proud of.”

To compile this list, the Franchise Times’ team conducts a five-month research process, analyzing companies’ five-year sales history graphs and building upon a database that began in 1999. To collect verified information for each award winner’s ranking, they use a combination of companies’ voluntary reports and publicly available data.

“Backed by more than 25 years of research, the Top 400 provides sales and unit growth data points that are essential to understanding franchise system performance,” said Laura Michaels, Franchise Times editor in chief. “Our team of researchers and reporters provides comprehensive segment analysis that is used by existing and prospective franchisees to evaluate a brand’s health, and by franchisors to gauge how they stand up against their competitors.”

For HomeWell, this recognition closely follows a series of others, including its recognition in the 2026 Inc. 5000 list for its 139% three-year growth, as well as being named a Top 2026 Franchise by Franchise Business Review. Now, as the year comes to a close, the company is gearing up for 2027 in anticipation of another year of growth and continued franchisee support as it continues to expand nationwide.
