Hall Render Expands in St. Louis With 2 New Shareholders

ST. LOUIS, Missouri—Hall Render, a national law firm focused exclusively on healthcare, has welcomed Elizabeth Tucker and Brett Travers as shareholders to its recently opened office in St. Louis, Missouri. Tucker is a healthcare operations and regulatory attorney primarily representing clients in the long-term care sector, and Travers advises healthcare clients on real estate and corporate matters.

Tucker represents senior housing, assisted living, skilled nursing, homecare, home health, hospice and other post-acute care providers on operational and regulatory healthcare law matters. She also has experience advising other healthcare provider types such as hospitals, ambulance services, pharmacies, behavioral health providers and physician practices.

She advises on day-to-day operational matters as well as representing clients in litigation or administrative proceedings with state and federal agencies. In the post-acute care space, Tucker has experience appealing certification surveys for healthcare providers, taking them from informal dispute resolution through hearing and appeal.

Prior to joining the firm, Tucker spent almost a decade advising and representing senior housing and post-acute care providers with legal and regulatory issues. 

Tucker is admitted to practice in Missouri, Illinois and California and earned her bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, her master’s from Washington University in St. Louis Brown School of Social Work and her juris doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law.

Travers advises healthcare clients on a wide variety of real estate and corporate matters. His practice includes the acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial real estate, real estate development, mergers and acquisitions, finance and day-to-day corporate counseling.

Before joining the firm, Travers served in executive leadership as general counsel for a senior living developer, builder, owner and operator, where he oversaw growth from eight locations in three states to 52 locations across eight states. His experience as former in-house counsel brings a valuable perspective to his work and allows him to offer clients practical, well-rounded business and legal advice.

Travers is admitted to practice in Missouri and Illinois and earned his bachelor’s degree from Saint Louis University and his juris doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law.
