Drive Medical Appoints Chrysalis Ashton Head of Respiratory Clinical Affairs, Industry Relations

PORT WASHINGTON, New York—Drive Medical has appointed Chrysalis Ashton as head of respiratory clinical affairs and industry relations.

In her new role, Ashton will work to strengthen provider engagement, educational initiatives and industry partnerships while serving as an advisor across Drive’s respiratory business. She will also contribute across quality assurance, regulatory affairs, engineering, product management and commercial initiatives, while representing Drive throughout industry organizations, including the American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare) and the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).

A registered respiratory therapist with undergraduate and master’s degrees in respiratory therapy, Ashton brings more than 13 years of leadership and management experience in home respiratory care and the durable medical equipment industry. Most recently, she served as compliance officer and education manager at CareLinc Medical, leading initiatives in clinical education, regulatory compliance, operational excellence and business performance.

Ashton currently serves as vice chair of the AAHomecare Home Medical Equipment/Respriatory Therapist Council, chair elect of the Homecare Section for the Michigan Society for Respiratory Care and social media ambassador for the National Board for Respiratory Care. She is also a member of the Advocacy and Government Affairs Committee of the AARC.
