David Wagner Selected as Keynote Speaker at Essentially Women’s Focus Conference

WATERLOO, Iowa – July 12, 2016 – Organizers of Essentially Women’s Focus Conference announced that best-selling author, entrepreneur and cancer survivor David Wagner has been selected as the keynote speaker.

Wagner’s presentation, “Change the world—one person at a time—through simple acts of kindness,” will take place at 8 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25 during the annual Focus Conference. During his presentation, Wagner will discuss how one touching encounter led him to initiate the pay-it-forward global movement of Daymaking.

“Through David’s battle with cancer, and using his hairstyling salon as a vehicle, he began his journey as a Daymaker—changing the world one person at a time through simple acts of kindness,” said Cindy Ciardo, Essentially Women’s manager of vendor relations. “Our industry is becoming increasingly more challenging. During his presentation, David will put our jobs back into perspective and remind us about what really matters, motivating us to make the world a better place by following his lead as a Daymaker.”

Focus: The EW Conference will take place September 24-26 at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The education conference is hosted exclusively for members of Essentially Women and features three days of business development, continuing education and networking with industry consultants, manufacturers and peers.
