BOC Earns Recognition as Accreditation Provider in Florida

Owings Mills, MD – The Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) was selected by The Agency for Health Care Administration for the state of Florida (AHCA) to provide accreditation for Home Medical Equipment (HME) suppliers there. BOC is one of five CMS-deemed Accrediting Organizations to earn this designation. BOC’s Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) facility accreditation allows facilities to avoid additional inspections by AHCA, saving time and expense for suppliers pursuing HME licenses in Florida.
