Medline Acquires Professional Hospital Supply

MUNDELEIN, Ill. (Feb. 3, 2014)—Medline Industries, Inc., the nation’s largest privately held manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products, announced that it has acquired Professional Hospital Supply (PHS) and all related facilities to complement its highly successful and fast-growing business. PHS is a privately held leading distributor of medical and surgical supplies, including sterile procedure trays and will continue to operate in Temecula, Calif. under the PHS name as a Medline subsidiary. The companies are not disclosing financial terms of the agreement.
