Get Busy on August Action Plan

ARLINGTON, Va. — With Congress in session only a few more
days before lawmakers leave for an extended August recess, it’s not
too late to add cosponsors to H.R. 3790 to eliminate competitive bidding, the
American Association for Homecare points out.

The long summer recess (Aug. 9 through Sept. 12), when
legislators will be campaigning for reelection, is an opportune
time to consider these actions

• Host a site visit for members of Congress and the media to let

• Raise HME issues at town hall meetings during the election
  season.

• Educate local media about key HME issues and their impact on
  seniors, people with disabilities, their families, employees and
