Power for Funding

ANAHEIM, Calif. — MK Battery announced that it will
contribute additional resources to help several national trade
organizations in their ongoing advocacy and lobbying efforts. In a
new campaign called “Power for Funding,” for every MK Gel battery
sold to HME providers in the U.S. through Oct. 31, the company will
donate $1 to the cause.

“Our management team is keenly aware of the legislative,
regulatory and reimbursement issues plaguing our industry and have
thus made the decision to further support the national trade and
professional organizations that are advocating on behalf of the
homecare community,” said MK HME Category Manager Dennis Sharpe in
a release. Sharpe said it is MK’s hope to make a total contribution
of at least $50,000 when the campaign concludes.

The total will be donated equally to AAHomecare, NCART and
NRRTS.
