PECOS Maintenance

BALTIMORE — CMS’ Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership
System (PECOS) will be unavailable from Monday, March 29, through
Monday, April 5, due to scheduled maintenance, according to a
notice. Beginning Jan. 3, 2011, DME claims will reject if the
ordering physicians or non-physician practitioners aren’t
registered in the nationwide enrollment system. For more on the
