FAA OKs Four More POCs

Adding to seven units approved earlier, the FAA announced Jan. 7
that four more portable oxygen concentrators have gotten the thumbs
up for air travel.

Newly authorized devices include DeVilbiss Healthcare’s iGo,
International Biophysics Corp.’s LifeChoice, Inogen’s Inogen One G2
and Oxlife’s Independence Oxygen Concentrator. Previously approved
POCs inclulde AirSep’s LifeStyle and FreeStyle; Inogen’s Inogen
One; SeQual Technologies’ Eclipse; Philips Respironics’ EverGo;
Delphi Medical Systems’ RS-00400; and Invacare’s XPO2.
