340 In-Home Care Providers Earn Recognition from Accushield

ATLANTA—Accushield today announced the inaugural class of its “Trusted & Transparent” program for home-based care companies, with 340 organizations and 883 location branches earning recognition for the high standards of care quality and operational transparency. Within that class, 134 home health, hospice and homecare organizations earned the program’s highest honor, “Top-Rated Trusted & Transparent” recognition, reserved for providers whose sustained performance places them at the top of every category the program evaluates.

The company said the designation is calculated through a proprietary composite score developed by Accushield and applied uniformly across the more than 25,000 care providers active in its ecosystem. The score draws on independent operational signals including verified credentials, Google ratings, visit compliance, Accushield ratings from families and community staff, continuity of care and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services quality ratings where applicable.
