DENVER—Naturs Design Inc., the maker of RemZzzs CPAP mask liners, announced the debut of a product for customers with nasal pillows style PAP masks. Along with users of more traditional PAP mask styles, users of nasal pillows frequently end up with skin irritation and tissue breakdown. In addition, the skin breakdown occurs at the point of mask insertion into the patient's nostrils, an extremely sensitive area, and is a major reason that users abandon therapy.

"This is a first-of-its-kind product on the market," said Robert Rutan, CEO of Naturs Design, Inc. "This is the result of years of requests by both patients and sleep professionals. They're looking for a way to prevent sores on the nares and leaking that causes them to adjust their mask all night."

Naturs Design team launched the new product at the APSS Sleep 2014 conference in Minneapolis, Minn., which they attended in June. For more information, visit remzzzs.com.
