VGM financial executive, designers and marketing group honored

Mike Mallaro, chief financial officer and chief information officer for VGM Group Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa, was named one of the Cedar Valley’s Top 10 Financial Executives by the Waterloo-Cedar Falls (Iowa) Courier newspaper. Mallaro, 48, has been with VGM since 2001. Also, VGM creative, VGM Group Inc.’s in-house design agency, and VGM Forbin, its web marketing/design firm, recently won American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards. VGM Creative won gold ADDYs for the Heartland 2011 Learn, Grow, Connect campaign, and the VGM Insurance Ahoy Matee Direct Mailer. Forbin won silver ADDYs for clients Ai Bionics, Freed Construction and VGM Club – Shop Employee Rewards.
