SOMERSET, Pa. (Jan. 15, 2015)DeVilbiss Healthcare announced its 2015 live clinical webinar schedule. Each live webinar, developed for respiratory therapists and sleep technologists, is free of charge and worth one traditional CRCE pending approval from the AARC.

The webinar schedule is as follows:

The Impact of Drowsy Driving – Tuesday, Jan. 20, 12 to 1 p.m. EST

Uncovering the Mystery of Diagnostic Phenotypes in OSA – Tuesday, Feb. 3, 7 to 8 p.m.

Technology & Sleep: Incorporating Less Common Technologies into Sleep Testing – Tuesday, March 3, 12 to 1 p.m. EST

Asthma Control & OSA – Tuesday, April 7, 7 to 8 p.m. EST

Upper Airway Anatomy & Combination Treatment – Tuesday, May 5, noon to 1 p.m. EST

Humidification in the Home Care Setting – Tuesday, June 2, 7 to 8 p.m. EST

These clinical programs are taught by one of two experienced clinical specialists – Dave Henry, RRT or Heather Murgatroyd, RRT, RPSGT. With more than 40 years of experience as an RT, Henry has been with DeVilbiss Healthcare since 1994, providing clinical support to the engineering, marketing and sales teams. Previously, he worked as a director of cardiopulmonary services for a local hospital and as an adjunct professor in a baccalaureate respiratory care program.

With 20 years of experience as an RT, Murgatroyd began with DeVilbiss in 2011. She has performed pulmonary function tests, EEGs and crossed trained as a sleep tech. During her 14 years in sleep, Murgatroyd worked all aspects of sleep testing – diagnostic testing, titrations, day- time studies, acclimations and scoring studies. She has also worked in home care, setting patients up on PAP therapy and educating family members.
