Keith Trowbridge, former president of PolyMedica subsidiary
Liberty Healthcare Group, has been appointed president and CEO of
Respiratory Distributors Inc. (RDI), a specialty distributor of
pharmaceuticals and proprietary COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary
disease) products. The new RDI chief said he hopes to expand the
company “not only in the respiratory market, but in other
markets as well.”
During Trowbridge's tenure at Liberty, a direct-to-consumer
Medicare provider of diabetes testing supplies and medications,
company revenues grew from approximately $100 million to $450
million in five years. Trowbridge left the company at the beginning
of the year, after which PolyMedica CFO Stephen Farrell was
appointed Liberty's new president.
RDI is owned by private investment firm Sun Capital
Partners.
